My Healing PCOS Journey

Living with PCOS is exhausting.

Some days you’re bloated and exhausted. Other days you’re craving everything in sight. And the worst part? You feel like you’re doing everything “right” but still not getting results.

I’ve been there. Honestly, I still am. Just a little further down the path than I was a year ago.

But here’s the good news. I’ve started to see real changes. Slow and steady ones, but changes that actually stick.

So I wanted to share a bit of what’s been working for me, where I’m heading, and how I’m finally starting to feel like myself again.

My Results So Far

Let’s talk about progress, because sometimes we forget how far we’ve come when we’re too focused on what’s next.

  • I’ve lost 10 pounds in the last year.
Not from some crash diet or magic fix. Just small changes, day by day.
  • My sugar cravings? Way less intense. I used to feel like I couldn’t go a day without something sweet. Now I still enjoy dessert, but it doesn’t control me.
  • I have more energy. Actual, get-up-and-go energy. I used to drag myself through the day, always reaching for caffeine. These days, I feel a little more alive.

That’s what healing looks like. Not instant results, but consistent effort that adds up.

What I’ve Been Doing

Here’s what I’ve been sticking with. Nothing fancy or overcomplicated. Just habits I can actually maintain.

  • Ovasitol has been a game-changer. I take it every day and I really feel the difference in my mood and cravings.
  • I aim for 5,000 steps a day. Even if that just means walking around my house or running errands.
  • I strength train about four times a week. It’s not intense, but it helps me feel strong.
  • I take iron too. My period tends to be heavy, so this helps me stay on top of my energy levels.

These things might seem small on their own, but together, they’ve made a big difference.

What I’m Doing Next

Alright. Time for some honesty. I used to buy random supplements off Amazon and just hope something would work.

That’s not the plan anymore.

Now I’m being more intentional. I’ve decided to stick with Ovafit supplements. They’re made for PCOS and I like knowing they’re designed for what I’m actually dealing with.

Here’s what I’m starting with:

  • The MetaboPlus package ( This package contains MetaMulti vitamin, Coenzyme Q10, Curcumin, and Omega-3. All formulated to help women with PCOS in mind . You can read all about the benefits of Metaboplus Supplements here.
  • Ovasitol (I will continue to take my Ovasitol , it is a little cheaper on ovafit.org than on amazon)
  • Berberine Advanced ( I made the switch to Ovafit because of all the scam berberine supplements on amazon, read my full article on that here.)
  • Testosterone Support ( I will be taking the testosterone support tea in the morning then my spearmint tea at night )

I’m also cutting back on sugar. I’ve been looking for a natural swap, and I’ve heard great things about the Trader Joe’s stevia. So I’m giving it a shot. Bought two bottles to test out. If it helps me enjoy my tea without the sugar crash, I’m in.

And of course, I’m committing to getting back in the gym.

Four days a week on the weights. Not for the number on the scale, but because it helps with everything. Mood, energy, even those stubborn cravings.

There’s something powerful about showing up for yourself, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.

If you’re just starting your PCOS journey or feeling stuck, I see you. This process is slow. It’s frustrating sometimes. But it’s so worth it.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep going. One walk at a time. One better meal. One good night’s sleep.
